Home Health PPS 2011 Final Regulation
On November 10, 2010, The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a final rule to update the Medicare Home Health Prospective Payment (HH PPS) rates for calendar year 2011.
We at Rehabilitation and Visiting Nurse Association have studied this rule extensively and will work with you, your physicians and their staff to make this requirement as stress-free as is possible given the intensity and restrictions of the federal government regulations. Agencies, physicians and hospitals have posed a number of questions about documentation of face-to-face encounters. You will find answers to these questions and other information at: www.nahc.org/regulatory/home.html or http://www.cms.gov/center/hha.asp.
